Registration for the 2010 DSYL season is now open and will remain open through Sept 30, 2009.  After Sept 30 a late registration fee will be charged.  No registrations will be accepted after Dec 31, 2009.

Program Information

Dover-Sherborn Youth Lacrosse (DSYL) offers a lacrosse program for boys in grades 2-8 who live in or go to school in Dover or Sherborn.

DSYL believes in:

• ‘balanced’ teams (no A or B)
• No tryouts, no cuts
• Equal playing time
• Commitment equal to other sports and activities
• Teams organized by school grade

Lacrosse is a Spring sport.  The DSYL program begins in mid-March and ends the third weekend in June with a league Jamboree.  It is organized into four grade groupings according to the parameters determined by Mass Bay Youth Lacrosse League (MBYLL), which we are associated.  These groupings are as follows:

• U9 –  Grade 2 instructional program
• U11 – Grades 3-4
• U13 - Grades 5-6
• U15 – Grades 7-8

 Please sign your son up for the appropriate program based upon his current grade in school.

 U9 Instructional (Grade 2)
Practice Saturday mornings and play scrimmages/games on Sunday afternoon

 U11-U15 (Grades 3-8)
Lacrosse is a three day a week commitment.  Each age group practices twice during the school week and plays travel games on Sundays.  Games can either be Home or Away at other west suburban town fields with start times ranging from 11-5pm.

 Registration Information for 2010 Season

Registration for DSYL town team will occur Saturday, 6/20 through Wednesday, 9/30/09.  Registration after Sept 30^th is not guaranteed, we will only accept additional registrations if room is still available at that particular grade level.  In addition, a $50 late fee will be assessed.  No registrations will be accepted after Dec 31, 2009.

Costs for programs will be as follows:
U9 Instructional (Grade 2)- $95
U11-U15 (Grade 3-8) - $245

Payment may be made by credit card only.  Registration will not be complete until payment is made.  If payment is not made within 15 minutes of registration, the registration will be cancelled.

Our refund policy:

Once a player is registered, DSYL only provides refunds for the following reasons:

• The player moves out of Dover or Sherborn
• The player has a long-term injury or illness
